This is an educational platform. All money is virtual. AI suggestions are probabilistic — not advice. Always research before investing real money.
1. What FinScope AI is — and isn't
FinScope AI is an educational simulation platform. Its only purpose is to help users build intuition about how AI works, how markets behave, and why discipline matters in investing.
FinScope AI is not:
- a stockbroker
- a financial advisor or investment advisory service
- a real-money trading platform
- registered with SEBI, RBI, or any other regulator
- an offer to buy or sell any security
All money inside FinScope AI is virtual. Nothing you do here moves real rupees in the real world. Mistakes here cost nothing — but the lessons are real.
2. About AI suggestions
FinScope's AI looks at price patterns, news, macroeconomic indicators, and company fundamentals to produce daily suggestions. Every suggestion includes:
- a confidence score, deliberately capped at 92%
- a plain-language “why” explanation
- a “what could go wrong” risk callout
AI suggestions are probabilistic — they describe patterns that have historically mattered. They are not predictions. Some days the AI is right; other days it's wrong. Often it tells you to do nothing because nothing in the data is convincing.
Do not treat AI suggestions as financial advice. Even when the AI sounds confident, real-world investing involves information the AI cannot see (private news, sentiment shifts, global shocks). Past patterns do not guarantee future outcomes.
3. Risk acknowledgment
Investing real money carries real risk of loss. FinScope AI deliberately removes that risk for educational purposes. Any success you experience inside this simulation does not predict success in real markets. Real markets have:
- brokerage fees, slippage, and taxes (we don't simulate these)
- emotional pressure that virtual money can't replicate
- execution delays and partial fills
- liquidity risk, especially in smaller stocks
If and when you decide to invest real money, work with a SEBI-registered advisor or a brokerage of your choosing. Do your own research. Start small. Understand that you can lose what you invest.
4. Terms of use
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Account. You're responsible for keeping your email and password safe. We won't share your account credentials or recover them in any way that bypasses standard password-reset email flow.
Acceptable use. Don't abuse the platform: no automated scraping, no attempts to bypass auth, no exfiltrating other users' data, no using the platform to lie about real financial advice.
Service availability. FinScope is offered as-is. We make no uptime guarantee. We may pause, change, or shut down the service with reasonable notice.
Termination. You can delete your account anytime from the Account screen. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Changes. These terms may change. Material updates will be announced on the dashboard with at least 14 days notice.
5. Privacy
What we collect. The minimum needed to give you an account:
- email address (stored by AWS Cognito for authentication and password reset)
- display name, if you chose to provide one
- your in-app activity (investments, top-ups, lesson reads, blind-trust signals) — used to render YOUR dashboard back to you
What we don't do.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
- We do not embed third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc).
- We do not profile you for marketing or build user segments.
Where data lives. Your data lives inside our AWS account in the us-east-1 region: PostgreSQL on Amazon RDS for app state, AWS Cognito for credentials. Backups are encrypted at rest.
Your rights. You can:
- see everything we hold about you on your Account page
- delete your account, which permanently removes your data within 30 days
- email us with privacy questions (see Contact below)
7. Intellectual property
FinScope AI's code, design, and the lesson library are licensed for personal educational use. Stock symbols, company names, and price data are factual references owned by their respective sources (NSE, BSE, Yahoo Finance). News headlines surfaced in the AI engine link back to their original publishers.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators of FinScope AI are not liable for any loss — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the platform or from decisions you make about real-world investments after using it.
9. Contact
For privacy questions, terms questions, or to delete your account outside the in-app flow: email devang@intellimedianetworks.com.
By creating an account and using FinScope AI, you acknowledge that you've read these terms and agree to use the platform as the educational tool it is — not as advice.
